I typically order their combination fried rice with extra garlic butter, to go. 😋 Happy hour is pretty good. The sushi is okay, I haven't tried 1 that makes me HAVE to come back to get it. Was pretty quiet on both week nights I ate here.
Fantastic atmosphere for casual dining. Had the best Hibachi and Sake in a long time. Must visit if you are in this neighborhood.
Great hibachi, had the steak and it was cooked perfectly. Nice, clean place. Some construction going on in the parking lot but it wasn't difficult to get in and out.
japanese food, quality stuff. Great food with quality ingredients. Really nothing but great experiences here, so I will be back. This place has a great feel to it.
Casual atmosphere and decent price for above average food. The staff is always friendly and the time I went for hibachi it was fun.
This was my first restaurant experience while visiting Houston Texas, this was the worst place I have ever dined at. Service terrible, atmosphere horrible, and just As I was starting to eat my food a roach crawled into my plate absolutely disgusting and disappointed. Avoid this place at all costs .
Everything was great! Delicious food and great service.
😋
We sat at a regular table (opposed to the hibachi table) which had good prices during happy hour (3-7pm). Both service and food were also good. We ordered the Sashimi combo and chicken wings; sashimi was fresh but the chicken wings didn't have much flavor.
Good food, great service! Come here at least once a week for lunch this place never lets me down!
The food is good the service is great. No complaints here.
Great Hibachi place, the fried rice is delicious. I like also the dressing in the salad. Good prices for lunch
I went for lunch and had the teriyaki salmon bento box. It was average and I was expecting higher level. The service was phenomenal and I plan on coming back for dinner to have the artful/ delightful looking sushi preparations. This will be updated soon.
Great hidden gem wonderful, worth every penny. Staff makes sure your every need is met.
Great food. I wish there was an English Menu at the restaurant.
Happy hour menu
Food was fresh and made to order right in front of us. 😉
Staff was nice and great, food was delicious I enjoyed my time They're 😄
I'm gonna have to say NO! Everything has MSG. They are not willing to work with you. So I'm sitting here watching my husband eat his soggy "Cajun Roll" that is so small my 8 year old nephew would leave hungry.
I ate at Hibachi table, ordered a steak and fried rice as usual 3-4 times a year. I always ended up hungry after finished. The portion was ok, not too much steak or chicken portion. The food was good and it was kinna pricy for a little portion of meat. I rather go to Jin, all you can eat meat and less money.
Quick, fast, and friendly service.
I love this restaurant!!! Great staff, clean and friendly environment...food is excellent too.
If you not from around here you might think twice before coming due to the failed mall close by and the construction in the parking lot, but I have had lunch and now dinner at ichibon. The sushi is fresh and the service great down to the authentic bento box. Thumbs up and give them a try you will be surprised.
Pretty solid sushi joint. The hibachi salad is amazing, I never see it on the menu but its hands down my favorite thing here.
A very satisfying experience I recommend trying it once or twice!
The absolute worst me and my family went to this restaurant for the 1st time we were the only ones in there besides 2 people sitting at the sushi bar we did the hibachi grill were it took 30 minutes just for our food to start being made once everything was on our plate and we started eating a ROACH crawled up on my mom's plate our waitor came over and killed it with his thumb and wiped it off like everything was ok😖🤢🤮. We ran out there and will NEVER ever go back. The health inspector needs to visit them ASAP
I come here for a quick cheap lunch... Quality isn't the greatest but the price is reasonable
This place is a fantastic hibachi restaurant. I've been here three times now, and each visit the food seems to get better. The decor is pretty decent and the hibachi chefs are entertaining. I strongly recommend this place if you are looking for a good meal on the north side of Houston. Will definitely be heading back again.
It was very different compared to my home restaurant. The hibachi chef was not very enthusiastic, but there was also not many people eating that night. This may be due to construction outside the restaurant.
Great place for Sushi and hibachi. The interior decor is very Japanese style. Cool fish tank as well. And you have to try the miso soup
If I can only just fine another seafood place where I can get sushi. But until then this is going after work.
Our chef was wonderful. We went right when it opened so it was just 2 of us and he still put on a great show. They have happy hour sushi and appetizers so we had both :) it was a wonderful experience.
A little pricey, but over all it was good! The Hibachi Grill part I like best:)
Food was good but the customer service was terrible. The place was completely empty and it still took forever for our order to be taken and an even longer wait for the check.
First time and definitely will not be the last...My family had a great time celebrating my daughter's birthday at the hibachi area, and the food was delish...Thanks!
My boss loves to come here for the sushi so we try to come here about once per month. The food is always good and so is the service. Their chicken teriyaki is really good. It's nice and quiet. A good place to carry on a conversation while you eat.
Me and my wife ate lunch here. We both enjoyed the meal. It was made fresh and it was very delicious.
Walked in the door at 9:20 and was told by bar staff they were closed and I wouldn't be served. Google and the sign on the door says 10p.m. 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
Great dining experience. Ordered the 2011 roll and jalapeño roll with no cream cheese, both were very good. Flavors were on point and the amount of fish in the rolls was substantial. Also ordered veggie tempura, which was cooked well. Fast service, clean restaurant and restrooms, and reasonable prices. I'd definitely go again if I lived here.
This place has great tasting food, however, the quantity was sizable enough for a new born baby. This is aftee the overpriced bill was paid for and to think theses people was looking for a tip. This is why you should not go to this place stay home cook your own food, they were semi nice however I personally work too hard to give my money to anyone who think they can do little work but get something. SAVE YOUR MONEY EAT AT HOME.
Horrible, The place is a mess the bust boy, was taking orders as well, and ensured us that we would be served, butfor didnt offer at least drinks We had to alert the bartender of our situation after sitting for almost an hour, he left his post to take our orders AND prepare our food AND serve us. Sadly, the food was horrible.
This place has been here forever. Good lunch specials. Service sometimes is lacking and the place is super dark inside. The food is good though. I really like the bento boxes as part of the lunch specials. The rolls are good too; not too expensive. My favorite is the jalapeno roll. Their fried rice is good also. I hope they stay open as the area is really only a lunch crowd. Sake is nice as well.
Food wasn’t good. A spicy tuna isn’t a regular tuna roll with chili powder sprinkled on the top. The water tasted like mold. I wouldn’t trust it.
Delicious, special chicken
First time. Nice weekday lunch service. Daily special. Fried shrimp a bit too crispy. Servings so generous I didn't eat rice. Soup hot, salad crisp. Would like to see this restaurant do well. I rounded up the stars and left a large tip. Will try it again soon since I work nearby.
Good food price was reasonable...
Good food good price good show
The place does not look awesome from the outside but when you get inside it has a quite good view. We decided to order Hibachi and it was awesome, best show ever. We met this hispanic chef which was really funny and made our day. If you get a chance to visit here try to joke with the chef and say him you are visiting so He makes his best on the show.
I like their happy hour specials. I love the special sushi rolls and I like to order the bento box. The crunchy Kani salad that comes with the bento box is really tasty. The waitresses that I've had I've always been very polite. I like this place and would recommend.
Great atmosphere, great service, but the spicy tuna roll had cayenne pepper sprinkled on it and the tuna had two tones. Kinda torn on this one. All my others rolls and sashimi were awesome. The tuna rolls just lacked authenticity.
